Born in 1984, Shreya Ghoshal started learning Bengali songs from her first guru her mother at the age of 4 and began formal training in Hindustani Classical music at the age of 6. After shining in various competitions and stage shows as a child performer, Shreya's huge moment came when she won at Sa-Re-Ga-Ma-Pa in the 75th Children's Special (1996) episode as well as the Mega final (1999) where she performed in front of an illustrious panel of music legends and got noticed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
